Commemorative Plaques

Commemorative plaques are available to honor a living or deceased loved one who embodies the "SPIRIT OF MOTHERHOOD". These 4" x 2" plaques are mounted on large wood-framed memorial boards in the entry way of the 1873 Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church, listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings. The structure is now the International Mother's Day Shrine and Museum, where the first celebration of Mother's Day occurred on May 10, 1907.

The cost of each plaque is $250.00, including engraving and mounting. The style of lettering is a simple block letter font as you can see in the following examples. You may choose the inscription that you with to have engraved. The inscription must be kept within 5 lines with a maximum of 40 characters to each line, including spaces and punctuation marks. Usually the name of the individual being honored is in a larger type. Please note the following example:
